Zusammenfassung
Für Interventionen im Becken- und Beinbereich stehen verschiedene Zugänge zur Verfügung. Punktiert wird die Arterie in Seldinger-Technik oder mit einer einteiligen, scharf geschliffenen, offenen Kanüle. Letztere bietet sich bei schwierigen Punktionsverhältnissen an, beinhaltet allerdings die Gefahr, dass ein Führungsdraht beim Zurückziehen abgeschert wird. Schleusen sollten obligat verwendet werden, wobei in der Regel Größen von F4 bis F6 ausreichen.
