Zusammenfassung
Bei gynäkologischen Patientinnen ist präoperativ häufig große Angst in Erwartung einer verstümmelnden Operation vorhanden, die ein besonders einfühlsames Vorgehen bei der Prämedikationsvisite erforderlich macht. Frauen sind von kardiovaskulären Begleiterkrankungen in höherem Lebensalter weniger oft betroffen als Männer, sodass sich seltener Einschränkungen der Narkosefähigkeit ergeben. Diese Besonderheiten werden in dem Kapitel Anästhesie in der Gynäkologie erörtert.
