Zusammenfassung

Die Endosonographie mit Feinnadelpunktion ist heute eine sehr wichtige, spezialisierte endoskopische Methode zur Diagnostik und Therapie zahlreicher Erkrankungen. Bei minimaler Invasivität und minimalen Komplikationen besitzt sie in erfahrenen Händen eine hohe klinische Effektivität. Insbesondere bei der Artdiagnostik kleinerer und disseminierter Läsionen entlang und um den Gastrointestinaltrakt und die Bronchien sowie zum Tumorstaging und zur Lokaltherapie ist die Methodik etabliert und nutzbringend. In diesem Kapitel werden die wichtigsten Anwendungen und technischen Voraussetzungen detailliert dargestellt.
