Zusammenfassung
Psychosomatik hat in der Schwangerenbetreuung und Geburtshilfe hat 2 wesentliche Aufgaben:
Beschreibung der psychischen Abläufe bei der normalen Schwangerschaft und Geburt,
Beschreibung von psychischen Störungen bei Schwangeren sowie von seelischen Reaktionen auf Komplikationen oder medizinische Eingriffe.
Die Schwangerschaft wird als Reifungs- und Entwicklungskrise besprochen. In der psychosomatischen Krankheitslehre werden typische Symptome und Krankheitsbilder in der Schwangerschaft erörtert mit den Wechselwirkungen zwischen körperlichen und seelischen Vorgängen sowie die psychosozialen Risikofaktoren und die Determinanten von Gesundheit und Krankheit, z. B vorzeitige Wehen/Frühgeburt, verleugnete/Scheinschwangerschaft, Verarbeitung von Pränataldiagnostik und Schwangerschaftsabbruch aus medizinischer Indikation. Des Weiteren werden soziokulturelle Aspekte, die Arzt-Patientin-Beziehung einschließlich der Gefühle des Personals sowie die spezifischen Therapieangebote thematisiert.
