Zusammenfassung

Auch nach Dünndarmeingriffen kommt es in klinisch relevantem Umfang zu einer postoperativen Darmparalyse oder zu einem postoperativen Ileus. Diese klinischen Krankheitsbilder werden unter dem Begriff des ESBO („early small bowel obstruction“) subsummiert. Häufiger als nach Dünndarmoperationen ist die Ileusentwicklung jedoch nach Koloneingriffen. Übergreifend ist die Thematik daher am Ende des Abschnitts als Überleitung zum Kapitel zur Kolonchirurgie angeschlossen.
