Zusammenfassung

Die Zusammenhänge zwischen Geschlecht, Gesundheit/Krankheit und Gesundheitsversorgung wurden in den letzten Jahren stärker berücksichtigt. Die Studien bleiben aber oftmals bei der Aufschlüsselung der Daten nach Frauen und Männern stehen, ohne die sozialen Dimensionen der Genderkategorie und ihren politischen Kontext zu erfassen und die Intersektionalität von Ungleichheitslagen zu berücksichtigen. Sie lassen uns mit den Fragen allein, warum sich die gesundheitsbezogenen Daten von Frauen und Männer unterscheiden, welchen Anteil das Gesundheitssystem und die Organisation der Versorgung an den Ungleichheiten hat und wie sie zu verringern wären. Hier setzt dieser Beitrag an und zeigt Zusammenhänge auf.
