Disruptive Innovationen entstehen dort, wo sich etablierte Unternehmen auf die Verbesserung ihrer Produkte und Services fokussieren und dabei einzelne Segmente und Kundenwünsche vernachlässigen. In dieses Vakuum dringen neue Marktteilnehmer mit digitalen Angeboten vor. Anhand von fünf Fallstudien zeigt der empirische Beitrag, wie Smart Products und Smart Services neue Leistungsversprechen und Nutzererlebnisse in Industrie, Dienstleistung und Handel ermöglichen und dabei etablierte Unternehmen herausfordern.
