Zusammenfassung
Tourismus wird als Informationsgeschäft charakterisiert, wobei drei Informationsebenen unterschieden werden. Die Erste generiert Informationen über den Kunden. Die Zweite erlaubt dem Kunden die individuelle Zusammenstellung seiner Leistung. Im Tourismus ergeben sich zusätzliche Herausforderungen. Die partikuläre, fragmentierte Leistungserstellung durch Unternehmen, die in einem Wertschöpfungsnetzwerk operieren, stellt Herausforderungen (dritte Ebene). Dieser Beitrag befasst sich mit diesen Herausforderungen und präsentiert verschiedene Ansätze. Es werden schließlich Vergleiche mit anderen fragmentiert erstellten Leistungen skizziert.
