Zusammenfassung

In diesem Beitrag werfe ich einen Blick auf die Historie eines Teilbereichs der qualitativen Forschung. Ich setzte mich mit zwei Entstehungsmomenten der Aktionsforschung auseinander. Ich verfolge hier die Arbeiten von Kurt Lewin und Jacob Levy Moreno, die unabhängig voneinander die Begriffe action research bzw. auch inter-action research eingeführt haben. Auch erscheint es mir wichtig, ein paar Worte zur Einordnung der partizipativen Forschung im großen Haus der qualitativen Forschung zu verlieren. Denn die partizipative Forschung hat aus meiner Sicht mit vielen Methoden der qualitativen Forschung nicht mehr gemein, als dass sie eben nicht primär auf quantitativen Daten beruht. Ziel meines Beitrages ist es dabei nicht so sehr, eine bestimmte Methode vorzustellen, als vielmehr einen Kommentar zum Nachdenken über qualitative Methoden aus der Perspektive politisch motivierter Forschung zu liefern.
