Lobbyismus im Mehrebenensystem der Europäischen Union

Zusammenfassung

Mit der Weiterentwicklung des EU-Mehrebenensystems wächst auch die Komplexität von Entscheidungsprozessen. Bestehende Theorien zur Erklärung von Lobbyismus in der EU sind nur begrenzt hilfreich, um die verschiedenen Wege der Beeinflussung der Gesetzgebung in der Europäischen Union zu erfassen. Dieser Beitrag erklärt die Einflussmöglichkeiten in den EU-Institutionen und ordnet die Interessengruppen ein, die Lobbyismus in der EU betreiben. Dabei wird deutlich, dass auch nationale Regierungen Teil des EU-Lobbysystems sind. Der Beitrag zeigt, wie die EU-Institutionen auf wachsende Transparenzforderungen reagieren und diskutiert, ob europäische Regulierungen zum Lobbyismus den nationalen voraus sind.
