Messen interkultureller psychischer Aspekte

Zusammenfassung

Interkulturelle Kompetenz wurde in den letzten Jahren zu einem Kernthema der öffentlichen Diskussionen. Besonders kontrovers stellt sich die Messung Interkultureller Kompetenz dar. Im folgenden Kapitel wird eine Übersicht über das Thema Messung Interkultureller Kompetenz aus einer psychologischen Perspektive gegeben. Um einen einführenden Überblick zu ermöglichen werden sowohl grundlegende theoretische Konzepte und empirische Ergebnisse vorgestellt, als auch praktische Implikationen für die Beurteilung und Entwicklung von Messinstrumenten für Interkulturelle Kompetenz gegeben. Der erste Teil des Kapitels geht dazu auf die Einordnung und Abgrenzung der psychologischen Forschung zu Interkultureller Kompetenz ein. Im Anschluss werden Definitionen und Ansätze zur Modellierung und Messung Interkultureller Kompetenz erläutert und im Hinblick auf ihre Vor- und Nachteile diskutiert. Abschließend werden aktuell etablierte Messinstrumente Interkultureller Kompetenz vorgestellt und diskutiert. Ein weiterer Schwerpunkt liegt dabei auf dem Cult-Euro-1 Test, welcher auf dem neuesten Stand der Forschung aufbaut und methodische und konzeptionelle Schwächen bisheriger Instrumente überwindet.
