Zusammenfassung

Die Autoren analysieren die Spezifik der Arbeit von Informatikern und verweisen auf die besondere Verantwortung für die Produkte ihrer Tätigkeit – vom Computerprogramm bis zur Entscheidung, welcher Automat wann zum Einsatz kommt und wo Menschen nicht durch Roboter ersetzt werden sollten. Ausgehend von langjährigen Erfahrungen u. a. an den Fachhochschulen Erfurt und Nordhausen leiten sie Vorschläge ab, wie die studentische Ausbildung dazu beitragen kann, dieser Verantwortung besser gerecht zu werden. Darüber hinaus wird betont, dass der dafür erforderliche Rahmen in Form von Regeln und Standards usw. von der Gesellschaft insgesamt geschaffen werden muss, einschließlich der Politik.

Abstract

The authors analyse the specific nature of the work of computer scientists and point out the special responsibility for the products of their work – from the computer program to the decision which machine is used when and where humans should not be replaced by robots. Based on many years of experience at the Universities of Applied Sciences in Erfurt and Nordhausen, among others, they derive suggestions as to how student education can contribute to better meeting this responsibility. Furthermore, it is emphasised that the necessary framework for this in the form of rules and standards etc. must be created by society as a whole, including politics.
