Zusammenfassung
Erfolgte School Shootings stellen für alle Beteiligten ein psychisch extrem belastendes Ereignis dar. Aus der akuten Bewältigung dieser Extremsituation heraus sind in den letzten zehn Jahren auf internationaler Ebene eine Reihe von psychologischen Interventionsplänen für die Nachsorge von School Shootings entstanden (Séguin et al. 2013). In dem vorliegenden Kapitel werden zu Beginn (1) die psychischen Folgen und Belastungen für Betroffene diskutiert. Anschließend wird auf die Relevanz der Nachsorge aufmerksam gemacht. Danach werden (2) die Kernelemente (Aufbau und Forderungen) rezenter Nachsorgeprogramme dargestellt. Im Anschluss daran werden ausgewählte (3) notfallpsychologische Akuthilfen, (4) kurzfristige bis mittelfristige, (5) traumafokussierte, sowie (6) längerfristige Interventionsmaßnahmen für Kinder, Jugendliche und Erwachsene näher erläutert. Abschließend werden auf der Basis des vorliegenden Buchkapitels (7) die gewonnenen Erkenntnisse, Konsequenzen und Empfehlungen zusammengefasst.
