Zusammenfassung
The D26 engine family with 12.4 l swept volume is MAN’s standard engine for heavy duty truck and bus applications. It was launched first in 2005 as a Single Stage EGR engine to fulfill Euro IV emission limits. Since the initial launch, the engine has been continuously updated to meet ever more stringent emissions regulations. In combination with customer requirements such as low Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) and high robustness, the evolution of the D26 led to a Two Stage high EGR engine in the current version.
