Abstract

The various definitions of the word child are determined by the cultural and social reality. One assumes therefore that childhood is constructed and as such it should be approached in the context of reality today, as well as with regard to different social and cultural processes occurring in the groups under research. In the contemporary world, we witness the creation and consolidation of various boundaries in human relations, which could be physical and/or mental and they could be crossed in a real and/or symbolic way.
