Regulierung und Einfluss von Interessenorganisationen in der EU-Gesetzgebung

Zusammenfassung

Klassische Integrationstheorien schreiben Interessenorganisationen eine bedeutsame Rolle für die Europäische Integration zu. Die zunehmende Regulierung und Institutionalisierung der politischen Interessenvermittlung und die gegenwärtigen Pläne zur Einrichtung eines obligatorischen Interessengruppenregisters zur Stärkung von Demokratie, Transparenz und Verantwortlichkeit in der EU unterstützen eine solche Einschätzung. Die empirische Forschung über die Bedeutung von Interessenorganisationezn in den legislativen Prozessen der Europäischen Union hat sich dabei stärker von Fallstudien hin zu umfassenden quantitativen Untersuchungen entwickelt. Daraus ergeben sich teils neue Fragestellungen und neue Antworten auf klassische Fragen zu Mobilisierung, Zugang, Bindungen und Einfluss von Interessengruppen im EU-Mehrebenensystem.
