Zusammenfassung
Die Erosion abgelagerter feiner Sedimente kann als Quelle für Schadstoffeinträge in unsere Gewässersysteme verstanden werden. Insbesondere kohäsive Sedimente weisen ein erhöhtes Potential an Schadstoffbindung auf. Bioverfügbarkeit und Biozugänglichkeit der vorhandenen Schadstoffe können sich mit variierenden Umweltbedingungen im Gewässer ändern und aquatische Organismen unter Umständen schädigen.
