Abstract

I firstly came across Professor Johann Engelhard, albeit not in person, in a special Issue of Management International Review (MIR) published in 1991. The title of the article that captured my immediate interest was “Paradigm Shift in International Business Research: From Partist and Eclectic Approaches to the GAINS Paradigm”. I read this article in my office at the Starnberger See, in 1992, if I recall correctly.
