Zusammenfassung
Die Finanzmarktkrise von 2007 und die Weltwirtschaftskrise danach haben den Terminus der Reputation zu einem zentralen Begriff der öffentlichen Debatte erhoben. Seit dem Reputationskollaps einer Vielzahl global tätiger Großbanken, einzelner Versicherungsunternehmen, Ratingagenturen, Aufsichtsbehörden und ganzer Volkswirtschaften ist ein regelrechter Boom um den Begriff festzustellen – medial, im wissenschaftlichen Fachdiskurs, aber insbesondere auch in der Beratungspraxis.
