Chronische Pankreatitis: Ätiologie, Pathogenese und Genetik

Zusammenfassung

Bei der chronischen Pankreatitis handelt sich um eine chronisch-entzündliche Erkrankung des Pankreas mit akut entzündlichen Schüben oder primär chronischem Verlauf mit allmählicher Zerstörung des exokrinen und endokrinen Gewebes und Ersatz durch Bindegewebe. Zu den Risikofaktoren zählen langjähriger Alkoholkonsum, Rauchen, genetische Faktoren und eventuell in sehr selten Fällen auch die Entwicklungsanomalie eines Pankreas divisum. Alle Gene, die mit der chronischen Pankreatitis assoziiert sind, scheinen die Verdauungsenzymkaskade mit ihrer zentralen Protease Trypsin zu beeinflussen.
