Zusammenfassung

Im Elektrokardiogramm wird die elektrische Aktivität des Herzmuskels aufgezeichnet. Neben EEG, EMG und EOG ist das EKG Bestandteil der Ableitungen einer Polysomnographie. Die Polysomnographie sieht in der Regel lediglich eine 1-Kanal-EKG-Ableitung vor. Bei der Anwendung des EKGs in der internistisch-kardiologischen Diagnostik des Herz-Kreislauf-Systems werden 12 und mehr Ableitungen aufgezeichnet.
