Zusammenfassung

Die Hypothyreose ist eine relevante Differentialdiagnose, die bei Patienten mit Tagesschläfrigkeit immer in Betracht zu ziehen ist. Wegen der vermutlich erhöhten Prävalenz von Obstruktiver Schlafapnoe bei Hypothyreose sollte bei Verdacht auf Obstruktive Schlafapnoe bei bekannter Hypothyreose eine schlafbezogene Diagnostik erfolgen. Bei bereits diagnostizierter Obstruktiver Schlafapnoe stellt die Hypothyreose eine wichtige Differentialätiologie und eine komorbide Erkrankung dar.
