Zusammenfassung

Die Gallenblase wird bereits am 30. Gestationstag rudimentär aus dem Leberdivertikulum gebildet. Die Gallenblasenvorstufe ist zunächst ein solides Zellgebilde, welches im Lauf der Entwicklung zystisch umformiert wird. Kongenitale Fehlbildungen der Gallenblase sind seltene Erkrankungen. Eine Agenesie der Gallenblase wird zwischen 1:7.500 und 1:10.000 angenommen. Häufig findet sich eine Assoziation mit anderen Fehlbildungen (Analatresie, Fehlbildungen des Genitourethraltrakts, Anenzephalie, zerebrale Aneurysmen, Aortenklappenfehlbildungen).
