Abstract
Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs) mainly consist of small, battery-operated, limited memory and limited computational power sensor nodes. It is important to achieve secure communication among WSNs even if some nodes are compromised. In this paper, three kinds of self-healing schemes for WSNs are described, a polynomial-based self-healing scheme (RPoK), a proactive co-operative self-healing scheme (POLISH), and a simple random key pre-distribution scheme with self-healing (S-RKP). Comparing three schemes, we clarify each difference and discuss optimal scheme under each different environments.
