Abstract

For the demand of accurate delivery promise on ordering stage under MTO and MTS mixed production mode, this paper proposed a quick order promising method for iron and steel enterprise based on short-term production capacity balancing planning. By this method, we extended ATP (Available-To-Promise) concept to RATP (Resource-Available-To-Promise), and give DTP (Delivery-To-Promise) while making resource promise. A heuristic method was developed to match available resource with order demand, which guarantees the short-term production capacity balance between production processes after order promising. The actual data testing results showed that the proposed method can meet the demand of online order promising with relatively short time.
