Abstract

Queuing problem is an important factor that affects operation level and efficiency of the supermarket. To solve the queuing issue properly through effective measures has become a top priority for supermarket. This paper provides reference for decision at the issue of optimizing the quantity of service cashier desks, improving service efficiency and decreasing operating costs. It analyses Supermarket cashier system queuing issues through establishing M/M/C queuing model on basis of operation research.
