Zusammenfassung
Leitlinien haben in den letzten Jahren sowohl in ihrer Bedeutung als auch in ihrer Anzahl enorm zugenommen. Primär werden diese für die meist ärztliche Entscheidungsfindung in spezifischen klinischen Situationen entwickelt. Im Bereich der Frauenheilkunde stehen inzwischen Leitlinien eines hohen Evidenzlevels zur Verfügung.
