Abstract
A for vitiligo was described by Lerner et al. (1986), designated C57BL/6 J-vit/vit. The vitiligo mouse has congenital dorsal and ventral white spots as well as progressive replacement of pigmented hairs with each spontaneous molt or after plucking.
