Die neurologisch-neurochirurgische Frührehabilitation

Zusammenfassung

Die urologische Problematik in der neurologischen Frührehabilitation besteht in den allermeisten Fällen in der häufig vorhandenen Blasenentleerungsstörung. Je nach Grunderkrankung tritt diese z. B. bei Zustand nach Apoplex in bis zu 79 % der Fälle auf (Patel et al. 2001). Beeinträchtigend sind aber auch mögliche Folgen der Blasenfunktionsstörungen wie Harnwegsinfektionen oder die oft notwendig werdende Harnableitung. Daher ist es unbedingt erforderlich, die Problematik rechtzeitig zu erkennen:

  • Einerseits kann jede Komplikation den Verlauf der Erkrankung ungünstig beeinflussen;

  • andererseits kann der Erfolg der Rehabilitation dadurch gemindert werden, dass bestimmte Maßnahmen wie z. B. Bewegungsbäder nur eingeschränkt oder gar nicht durchgeführt werden können.
