Zusammenfassung

Vorteile der Dysplasiesprechstunde Während entzündliche Veränderungen an der Vulva und der umgebenden Hautareale häufige Gründe für das Aufsuchen eines Gynäkologen darstellen, sind prämaligne und maligne Vulvaerkrankungen selten. Da sowohl die prämalignen als auch die malignen Vulvaerkrankungen im Frühstadium generell als heilbar gelten, ist aber die Erfahrung bei Diagnose und Therapie dieser Erkrankungen von eminenter Bedeutung. Erfahrung mit einer seltenen Erkrankung kann jedoch nur dann gesammelt werden, wenn es gelingt, möglichst viele Patientinnen zu betreuen. Dies ist nur dann möglich, wenn man spezielle Sprechstunden in großen gynäkologisch- onkologischen Zentren einrichtet, die von Spezialisten geführt werden und als Referenz für ganze Regionen dienen. Hier sollten außer der persönlichen Expertise auch alle Möglichkeiten der nicht invasiven und invasiven Diagnostik vorhanden und außerdem eine enge interdisziplinäre Zusammenarbeit mit spezialisierten Pathologen und Dermatologen gewährleistet sein. Von entscheidender Bedeutung ist der Verlauf von Vulvaerkrankungen, der eine jahrelange Nachbeobachtung voraussetzt. Dementsprechend spielt die genaue Dokumentation (schriftlich und v. a. durch Fotos) eine wichtige Rolle.
