Abstract
Vascular complications in the gastroduodenal area have traditionally been dealt with by open surgery or endoscopy. Lately, catheter-delivered therapies have emerged that allow us to treat both arterial and venous occlusive diseases, arterial hemorrhage, and aneurysms endovascularly. In this chapter we will review some aspects on the endovascular treatment opportunities in this region. Portal hypertension associated with hepatic disease will be dealt with elsewhere.
