Abstract

Talc poudrage is a technique to induce pleurodesis in the pleural cavity. It is usually performed during videothoracoscopy either in local or in general anaesthesia. Safety and efficacy of such procedure have been extensively showed in all different sets: spontaneous pneumothorax and pleural effusions (either benign or malignant).
