Zusammenfassung

Das Kapitel behandelt die anatomischen und physiologischen Grundlagen von Kolon und Rektum. Darüber hinaus werden artefizielle Gewebsveränderungen, z. B. durch fehlerhafte Orientierung und Variationen der normalen Histomorphologie, wie durch Einläufe zur Darmvorbereitung, dargestellt, die eine korrekte Beurteilung der Pathomorphologie beeinträchtigen können. Schließlich werden die wesentlichen Fehlbildungen unter Berücksichtigung der Embryologie nach Häufigkeit und Form erörtert.
