Abstract

With the development of intelligent card (IC), traffic monitoring, Radio Frequency Identification (RFID), Electronic Toll Collection (ETC) and other intelligent transportation technology, traffic managers can accurately measure of road traffic flow, which provide conditions for road traffic intelligent decision. This paper uses the city traffic network graph, and each road traffic flow measurement data, according to the length of road and road congestion condition, uses the Dijkstra algorithm, to provide the best travel route for the city’s driver, which can effectively avoid the traffic congestion, improve the operation efficiency of city traffic.
