Abstract
With the evolution of arthroscopic instruments, hip arthroscopy has become a useful diagnostic tool and an important instrument in treating hip trauma. Most of the literature available (case reports and case series) describe arthroscopy post hip dislocation. The most common intra-articular lesions seen during an arthroscopic examination after hip dislocation are osteochondral lesions, loose bodies, and labrum and ligamentum teres tears. Hip arthroscopy appears effective and safe in the setting of trauma.
