Abstract
Idiopathic scoliosis is defined by lateral and rotational deformity of the spine without a known primary cause. Treatment modalities vary depending upon severity of deformity and patient factors, but may include observation, bracing, or operative intervention including osteotomies, instrumentation, and fusion.
