Abstract
In this paper, authors are trying to develop a Simulink MATLAB model comprising of Solar panel, Boost converter, Three phase inverters, Wind turbine, Induction machine(IM), Grid source(GS) and Three Phase load(TPL). This model is an effort to interconnect the solar and wind power generating units in parallel with the GS to feed a common TPL. The idea behind is to use the renewable resources at its rated power generating mode, whereas the GS can absorb and deliver power in case of surplus and deficit in generated power respectively. This Simulink model helps the users to control the power of solar as well as wind turbine, which indirectly controls the power of GS. This paper will provide the complete details about starting and operating of the model. Also, standard operational results are provided for better understanding.
