Abstract
Problems of decision and optimization are of an importance beyond all doubt. However, the new life plans that the current Digital Society entails compel us to clarify some aspects of the essential elements of a decision problem, and therefore also of optimization. This paper presents a formulation of a decision problem that takes into account these new parameters and, based on them, proposes new models to optimize decision making.
