Abstract
We study the phenomenological implications of breaking the Tri-Bimaximal(TBM) mixing in such a way that either first or second column of TBM remains invariant. We find that in the case when the first column is preserved, unknown phase of neutrino mass matrix (\(\chi \)) remains unconstrained whereas when the second column is preserved, \(\chi \) is constrained in the second and fourth quadrant. We also studied the variation of mixing angle (\(\theta _{23}\)) with the CP violating phase (\(\delta \)).
