Neutrophilic Dermatoses

Abstract

Sweet’s syndrome is the prototypic neutrophilic dermatosis first reported in 1964 by Robert Douglas Sweet who describes a new dermatosis entitled an ‘acute febrile neutrophilic dermatosis”. Although the pathogenesis of Sweet’s syndrome still remains to be determined, this condition is now classified as an autoinflammatory disease.
