Abstract

Considering of the poor universality and high development costs in different productive process information management systems (PIMS), this paper presents a new developing approach for PIMS software. It applied the layered-design theory and Modular program development technology to design a general PIMS, which allows users alter the HMI by simple ways like Keyboard inputting and pictures inserting. Mean while, the approach proposed makes it possible to reselect monitoring data when field databases changed. Experimental results demonstrate that the approach proposed in this paper has a prominent personalized design, and it can be applied to different production process information management system.
