Abstract
Cellulitis is a spreading bacterial infection of the dermis and subcutaneous tissues. It is important to distinguish cellulitis from necrotizing fasciitis and osteomyelitis. PET/MR imaging can provide excellent assessment of the deeper myofascial tissues and notice secondary sites of infection.
