Abstract
Hyperprolactinemia is a condition characterized by elevated serum prolactin. The most frequent pathological cause is a prolactinoma, which is the most common type of pituitary adenoma. Strategies for medical management that is safe for both mother and fetus will be presented. The anesthetic management of labor and delivery as well as operative deliveries will be discussed.
