Abstract

Breast augmentation has become widespread over the years, around the world, as an important element of a woman’s femininity; thus, several techniques have been developed to restore body harmony in patients with hypoplasia or an absence of breast tissue. Therefore, safe materials have been sought with a low rate of complications, such as silicone gel implant. This procedure is considered to be of low morbidity, providing immediate results, and is satisfactory both for the patient and for the surgeon.
