Abstract
Tyrosine kinase inhibitors (TKIs) constitute an important element in the treatment of solid tumors. Their use is expanding in the last years since clinical trials showed survival benefit, setting new treatment indications. Moreover, new molecules are being developed targeting resistance mechanisms such as acquired mutations or feedback mechanisms of the upregulated signaling pathway. The available TKIs and their indications of use through clinical trials are listed and discussed.
