Abstract

Atypical parkinsonism syndromes, such multiple system atrophy, progressive supranuclear palsy, corticobasal syndrome, and dementia with Lewy bodies, are a heterogeneous group of diseases with complex pathological and clinical features. In this chapter we discuss techniques in neurorehabilitation, including physical and speech therapies, that may improve the quality of life of patients with atypical parkinsonism
