Abstract
Rectovesical Fistula (RVF) is an uncommon complication of radical prostatectomy and management can be challenging due to the deep location in the pelvis and prior surgery. Our objective is to describe a reproducible robotic technique for transabdominal repair of RVF with omental flap interposition. Appropriate operative setup and technique are keys to a successful and durable repair. We aim to provide a concise draft on an established technique for robotic RVF repair that may serve as a guide to the novice robotic surgeon.
