Abstract
Femoral hernias are more common in the female population. Repair of a femoral hernia is indicated whenever it is diagnosed, due to its high risk of incarceration and strangulation. This chapter lists indications, essential steps, technical variations, and complications of repair. It includes a detailed template operative note.
