Abstract
The vacuum erection device (VED) is a long-standing treatment for ED which is attractive to patients because it is a drug-free and surgery-free alternative for their ED. However, for some patients, the device may be too cumbersome to use or difficult to integrate into their sexual activity. The device works by using a vacuum to draw blood into the penis. A constriction band is then placed on the base of the penis to hold the blood in place.
