Abstract

In recent years, many tumors have been described that are considered under the generic category of gliomas arising from the sella turcica. The low-grade sellar neoplasms in this distinct group have unclear histogenesis, but emerging data suggest that they most likely represent a spectrum of closely related neoplasms. Some suggest that they may even be members of a single nosologic entity [1].
